Spirit is so often left out of the topic when it comes to trans folk. Our narratives have been washed sterile by the focus on our medical needs and experiences. Trans folk have a rich and unique set of coming of age moments and rituals that together with many other things create the cultural trans experience. ‘Croning: Honoring our trans feminine elders’ will explore how rituals can be a healing part of claiming identity, growing into one’s self, and feeling part of community.
