Lisa Roberts
Lisa Roberts grew up in Yarmouth, Maine, and currently works for the Maine Office of Cannabis Policy. Before returning to Maine in 2017, she spent several years in New York City working in senior and affordable housing development. However, the majority of her career has focused on political organizing, directing local and national campaigns for organizations like the DNC, ACLU, and Amnesty International. Lisa also served as the Executive Director of the Maine Democratic Party from 2019 to 2021.
Throughout her career, Lisa has worked alongside diverse communities, organizing around issues that affect people’s everyday lives, and believes in the power of grassroots advocacy to drive long-term, transformative change. Outside of work, she’s an avid Red Sox fan, enjoys solving crosswords, and loves hiking. She lives in West Gardiner with her wife, Andrea, and their two cats, Leo and Penny.
