SAGE Speaker Series: Lindsey Lefevre from the Alzheimer's Association

10 Warning Signs of Alzheimer’s:

 Alzheimer’s and other dementias cause memory, thinking and behavior problems that interfere

 with daily living. Join us to learn how to recognize common signs of the disease; how to approach

 someone about memory concerns; the importance of early detection and benefits of a diagnosis;

 possible tests and assessments for the diagnostic process, and Alzheimer’s Association

 resources.

. My name is Lindsey LeFevre and I use they/them pronouns. I’m a junior at the University of Vermont studying Public Health Science and Sociology. My internship with the Alzheimer’s Association started in January of 2022 and I’ve primarily worked on delivering and expanding education programs. I’m originally from North Carolina and the majority of my family is living there. I have several personal connections to Alzheimer’s disease and dementia including my grandmother on my dad’s side who has dementia and my grandfather on my mom’s side who has Parkinson’s disease with MCI.
